IRCC invites 893 PNP candidates in new Express Entry draw

IRCC held its 3rd express entry 2023 lottery.

Immigration, Refugees and Canadian Citizenship (IRCC) has issued Permanent Residency Invitations to 893 State Candidate Program (PNP) candidates. Comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score 733.

This was the first program-specific Express Entry draw since July 2022. From July to today, the IRCC has conducted a drawing for all programs, in which all eligible Express Entry candidates were considered for invitation. In all program draws, Express Entry candidates may be invited from any of the three programs administered by Express Entry’s application management system, without state nominations.

Express Entry candidates for this draw have already received state nominations. state nominee program (PNPs) allow Canadian provinces to nominate individuals who support local labor market and population goals. With the exception of Quebec and Nunavut, most Canadian provinces and territories have PNPs for Express Entry.

A state nomination increases a candidate’s CRS score by 600 points. For this particular draw, Express Entry candidates required a minimum CRS score of 133 before being eligible for state endorsement.
