More than 120K Helly Hansen sweaters, hoodies recalled in Canada. Here’s why – National

hundreds of thousands Helly Hansen Sweaters and hoodies have been recalled due to their flammability hazard. Health Canada said Wednesday.

“Affected products incorporating brushed cotton fabrics that have undergone certain treatments may not or may not comply with the textile flammability regulations,” the agency said.

A total of 128,680 units of covered products manufactured in Sri Lanka and Turkey were sold in Canada between August 2019 and 2022.

The recalled products include the Manchester Graphic Hoodie, Kensington Zip Hoodie, Kensington Sweatshirt, Kensington Zip Sweatshirt and HHWW Graphic Sweatshirt.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using recalled products and contact the company for a product replacement credit.
