The man from Markham, Ontario is still dealing with the reality of being the winner of the October 11th Lotto Max drawing.

Bohan Ye was overwhelmed by his luck when he found out. Lucky his 25-year-old, who purchased his ticket at OLG.ca, learned of his winnings from an email that seemed unusual compared to the others that flew into his inbox.

“I saw an email from OLG and it was unlike anything I’ve ever received,” he recalls. “I was surprised when I opened it and saw the amount of money as a ‘jackpot’!”

Ye’s total earnings from Lotto Max’s second win is worth $105,716.70 after matching 6 of the 7 numbers along with the bonus numbers.

There were no first prize winners. Winning number It was 03, 19, 33, 36, 39, 40, 42 and bonus number 44.

The first person Ye called was her father.

“My father was so cool, I couldn’t believe it,” he said.

As for what Ye will do with the big pot, he says he intends to donate part of the winnings to charity and pay for his tuition. Speaking of fun investments, Ye plans to buy a new car.

“I didn’t expect to win,” he said. “This is unbelievable.”
