Urgent: Häagen-Dazs ice cream recalled over chemical contamination fears

Popular ice cream products recall From retailers selected for concerns about chemical pollution.

General Mills Australia is recalling Haagen-Dazs Vanilla 457ml and Haagen-Dazs Classic Collection Mini Cup 4x95mL due to chemical (ethylene oxide) contamination.

Recalls will affect products with a best-by date from April 7, 2022 to July 21, 2023.

Vanilla 457mL is sold at independent retailers nationwide, including Coles, Woolworths, and IGA.

The Classic Collection Mini Cup 4x95mL is sold at Coles nationwide.

Foods containing ethylene oxide can cause illness when ingested.

General Mills Australia recalls Haagen-Dazs Vanilla 457ml and Haagen-Dazs Classic Collection Mini Cup 4x95mL credit: Food Standards Australia New Zealand

Consumers must not eat this product and must return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
