York area police are looking for at least one suspect after someone drove into Vaughan Mills Mall early Wednesday morning during a break-in.
The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 am at a shopping center near Highway 400 and Rutherford Road.
Yorkshire Police said the suspect drove from the Entrance 1 door of the shopping center and drove through the mall.
Investigators told CP24 they are still working to determine the exact number of suspects involved in the incident.
The vehicle’s occupants reportedly stopped and broke into an unnamed store, taking away an unknown amount of items.
They reportedly walked through Entrance 6 of the mall before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported, but property damage was significant, York Police told CP24.
