The two suspects fled Wednesday afternoon after what police described as a “collective and extremely violent event” in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam on Tuesday afternoon.
Two people known to police are also in custody.
“We are still concerned that they are out of the community,” Coquitlam RCMP Insp. Darren Carr said at a press conference Wednesday of the remaining suspects.
‘Collective and extremely violent event’: Coquitlam RCMP on chaotic incidents and community concerns
Employees at Port Coquitlam’s Journey Approved car dealership remain shaken by a brazen armed robbery.
Masked and armed people were seen stealing a black Mercedes CL350 when about a dozen people were working at the dealership around 3:30 p.m.
They told Global News Wednesday morning that they were hiding under their desks so they couldn’t see much.
As the incident continued, police said the suspect crashed a stolen vehicle near the King Edward Overpass on Highway 1 and attempted to flee on foot.

One of the four was quickly found and arrested.
Carr said charges are expected in the near future.
He said they are still trying to determine the number of shots fired at multiple sites by police and the suspect during the incident.
“We were reacting to force in the same way. If you’re in a densely populated area, an officer will do a risk inspection,” Carr says.
The RCMP hopes to publish the accounts of the outstanding suspects soon.
