A brawl broke out between several people at the Marlborough C Train station last Thursday afternoon, with one of them seen firing a flare gun.

After a while he brightened up again.

Calgary police released a video of the incident on Wednesday, showing a number of men interacting on the upper floors of the Northeast Station.

In the footage, one of the men throws a punch at another man and then finds himself dodging multiple opponents.

The pipe is pulled out of his clothes and used in a melee, eventually knocking the man who started the fight to the ground.

The video released by police is cut to the point where it appears that the man who started the fight walked away and came back with an object in his hand.

He apparently shot one of the other men with a flare, setting his coat and possibly his hair on fire.

The others see the burning man fall and roll, trying to extinguish himself, so they grab what they think is one of the pipes and give chase.

The video released by police ends with the man bursting into flames twice before falling to the ground while the rest of the men flee.

According to police, the incident occurred at 2:15 pm on November 17 when bystanders were present and scrambled to avoid it as the brawl unfolded.

One person was arrested, at which point the flare gun was seized.

Evan Robert Mossing, 37, is currently facing seven gun-related charges.
