Kelowna Yacht Club employee wins national award – Kelowna News

Kelowna Yacht Club employees are nationally recognized for winning awards from the Canadian Association of Club Management.

Nicole Kiatipis has been awarded CMAC’s Young Professional Award for outstanding achievement and contribution to Canadian club operations.

The Young Professional Award recognizes young club managers who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievements and demonstrated great future potential.

According to KYC, since joining the Kelowna Yacht Club in 2017, Nicole has played a key role in many aspects of the organization.

Executive Director Tom Killingsworth said: “I couldn’t think of a better candidate for this award.

“Nicole is a consummate professional, always ready and her commitment to continuous learning is an invaluable aspect to Kelowna Yacht Club.”

According to KYC, Nicole has cultivated the KYC brand and implemented its use in various departments such as social media, communications, marketing, member services and food and beverages.

Since 1957, the Canadian Club Management Association has supported its members with education, certification, networking and member events to help them maintain the highest standing in their industry.
