25 block daredevil ride

The Highway Daredevil spill on Highway 97 followed a gruesome ride through Vernon on Monday.
After a video of a ‘bumper hitcher’ in the back seat of a delivery truck went viral locally and generated hundreds of comments and reactions on Facebook, more videos of the dangerous stunt emerged.
“I was minding my own business at a red light near Mr. Mike’s when this guy jumped in a cubic van in front of me. Vernon Lunt and Rave (Uncensored) Facebook group and new video shot near the start of the ride.
“I think it’s just another day in Vernon,” Shields wrote.
Nathan McAllister posted an original video showing a man getting off the bumper of a truck and “surfing” with his feet before rolling into a blacktop by the Pentagon compound on Highway 97. did.
The truck continued driving, but the driver appeared unaware of the incident.
The dangerous stunt began north of 39th Street and stretched over 25 blocks to the top of Hospital Hill near Vernon Cadet’s camp.
The man did not appear to be seriously injured as he was seen upright after the spill.
In Shields’ video, the stranger can be seen casually hanging in the back of a truck, navigating through busy highway traffic and several intersections.
Needless to say, such behavior is strongly discouraged.
