One of Central Okanagan’s most spectacular holiday displays is lit up tonight. mission hilll Family Estate Winery in West Kelowna.

Winery hosts 6th annual event Tree Festival in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“It will be a fun, family-friendly event to kick off the holiday season,” says General Manager Graham Nordin. “From 5pm to 8pm, there will be holiday treats, mulled wine, hot he chocolate, and the opportunity to see and vote for your favorite tree. Local businesses, organizations, and private groups donate at least $1,000 each to sponsor the tree.

From Saturday 26th November to 3rd January 2023, Festival of Trees Winery Experiencea portion of the proceeds from each experience will be donated to BCCHF.

‘The winery’s sommelier will guide you, which includes a tour of the underground barrel cellars, but this is the first time the cellars are actually decorated with trees,’ explains Nordin.

Your ticket includes a sit-down tasting of wines from the Terroir and Legacy Collection, paired with seasonally inspired snacks amidst the glow of stunning trees.

Mission Hill Family Estate Winery will also match all donations from members of the Wine Club who visit for a free tasting during the fundraising period.

This year, Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan The resort joined the winery and co-hosted the Okanagan Festival of Trees. The fundraising goal is $100,000 overall.
