Yorkshire police are gathering evidence in the Markham neighborhood after an unknown suspect dragged a woman by force between two homes on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm in an alley just off Woodhall Road, north of Steeles Avenue East and west of McCowan Road.
According to investigators from the York Area Police Special Victims Unit – Sexual Assault Section, a woman was walking down an alleyway from McCowan Road to Woodhall Road when an unknown man grabbed her and “pushed her between two houses.” It dragged me hard.”
