Prime Minister Doug Ford has announced new changes to Service Ontario to make it ‘faster’ and ‘easier’ to obtain driver’s licenses and health cards.

On Wednesday, the province announced that at 64 of Service Ontario’s busiest locations, customers can now book multiple services in one appointment, or book one appointment for the whole family.

Service Ontario introduced an online booking system in November 2022 to reduce wait times and COVID-19 risks.

The updated system allows users to book different services from a drop-down menu and complete them all in one booking. The improvements are now live on his website at Service Ontario. A calendar icon is placed next to it. Where we offer online services.

Ford announced Wednesday morning at Brampton:

Ontarians have the opportunity to identify their accessibility needs prior to booking.

Service Ontario is also stepping up its virtual service, offering health card updates through video calls.

Ford said a number of new service Ontario pilot programs will be rolled out in the coming months.

Soon-to-be married couples will be able to apply for a marriage license online instead of going to city hall. Ford said it will extend digital dealership registrations to trade-ins and used cars by spring.
