Calgary police are looking for a suspect involved in an altercation that lasted about an hour. The altercation spanned several communities and ended in shootings.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, a shooting occurred in Block 100 of Corner Meadows Way NE in the community of Cornerstone, shattering windows in a show home, but no one was injured.

Police said the confrontation began outside a home on the 400 block of Tara Lake Way NE and appeared to involve several people who traveled around the city in four different vehicles.

“During the incident, the suspect smashed the windshield of an unrelated vehicle parked in the area of ​​Cornerstone Boulevard and Country Hills Boulevard NE before realizing it belonged to an innocent citizen,” police said Wednesday. said in a news release.

“Minutes later, one of the offenders fled the scene after colliding with a second unrelated vehicle at the intersection of 68th Street and Airport Trail NE.”

Police said the attackers continued toward the cornerstone where the shooting took place.
