Adidas is launching an investigation into allegations of misconduct against Kanye West, with whom the company had a partnership that ended in October.

In a statement released Thursday, Adidas said, “It is not clear at this time whether the accusations made in anonymous letters are true. We have decided to immediately initiate an independent investigation into this matter to address it.”

In the video, West did not apologize for his anti-Semitic remarks, but appeared to be trying to distance himself from “hate groups.”

“I have nothing to do with hate groups,” West concluded with a prayer. “It doesn’t matter if there is hatred against the Jews (gesturing to yourself), because I demand that everyone walk in love.”

Adidas has been partnering with West since 2013 when West signed his brand away from rival Nike. In 2016, Adidas expanded its relationship with the rapper, calling it “the most significant partnership ever created between a non-athlete and a sports brand.”

West currently does not have an attorney or publicist to represent him in this matter.
