I didn’t know you could fall in love Star Wars spin off Andor More than I already had. Then, watch this amazing retro tribute to Disney+’s streaming hit that got me hooked again for the Season 1 finale.

The “Andor 1975 TV Intro,” posted on Auralnauts’ YouTube channel earlier this week, is exactly what it says on the tin. If it was released before 1977, it made up the intro to the show. It introduces grainy CRT filters, very serious and gravelly baritone narration, and brief intros for all the main characters. The whole thing is cut from the real thing Andor Footage, and other classic TV intros, as well as mostly included all major spoilers From the first season (be careful).

“So, we bring you tonight’s TV movie premiere. Get ready to travel to a galaxy far, far away that existed long ago. It’s spectacular sci-fi… ANDOR. Every Thursday night, exclusively on ABC .”

One of the reasons tributes work so well is that Andor A kind of modern homage to the neo-noir science fiction of the late 1970s and early 1980s is already at the heart of it.Somehow you can tie deep dives to Baroque Star Wars A paranoid lore about technology and totalitarianism that often appears in Philip K. Dick’s short stories. The talented Craven Moorhaus and Zak Koonce behind the Auralnauts remix channel Andor the intro was inspired by Star Wars Creator, George Lucas’ own directorial debut, THX1138a film about a future dystopia where society is treated and controlled by androids.

Showrunner Tony Gilroy (Bourne’s identity, Michael Clayton) has already been confirmed Andor Only ran for 2 seasons, the second was Time jump every 3 episodes To help it get to the event rogue oneFor now though, there’s still the end of Season 1 to look forward to.
