Prince Charles has suffered a number of awkward encounters before he became monarch, including Mike’s gaffe that left him blushing over a comment about his sons Princes William and Harry.

mirror england Charles, then Prince of Wales, recently shared a classic moment of royal recollection when he was vacationing in the Swiss Alps with young Princes William and Harry.

At the time, BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell was asking about the wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla, now the Queen.

When asked about the impending second wedding, King Charles turned to his sons and apparently said, “I’m so glad you heard that anyway,” before grimacing and saying, “Bloody people. I can’t stand that guy. He’s so bad.He really is.

Realizing that others may have heard his father’s remarks, Prince William quickly jumped in and defused the situation with his own cheeky remarks. I have one responsibility and I must do something wrong. ”

But the former Prince of Wales wasn’t a big fan of the journalists who first announced the death of his ex-wife, Princess Diana, in 1997, so Charles’ comments on Witchel weren’t surprising.

Meanwhile, Charles and Camilla got married in April 2005 and have been married for over 17 years.
