Priscilla Presley contests validity of Lisa Marie Presley’s will – National

Priscilla Presley Disputes the validity of the Amendment to his deceased daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s Willing to remove her from trusteeship and give her grandchildren a large stake in the Graceland Empire.

Lisa Marie fired her mother, former business manager Barry Siegel, as co-trustee of her will in 2016. Court petition from Priscilla’s attorneyand replaced them with her children, Riley and Benjamin Keough.

Benjamin Keough died in 202033-year-old actor Riley Keough was left as sole trustee.

Priscilla’s petition alleges that she was not notified of the modification of her daughter’s will until after her death. Lisa Marie passed away at age 54 on Jan. 12 after being hospitalized for cardiac arrest. She was the only child of Elvis Presley.

The petition also claims that the proposed amendment misspelled Priscilla’s name, questioning the authenticity of Lisa Marie’s signature.

“(The signature) appears to contradict (Lisa Marie Presley’s) normal and customary signature,” the document states. CNN reported.

Other complaints in the petition allege that the proposed amendment has not been notarized, exists only as a PDF copy, Lisa Marie’s signature is on a blank page of the document, and there is no wording regarding the change of trustee.

In 2005, Lisa Marie sold most of her ownership interest in Graceland Holdings, the parent company of Elvis Presley Enterprises.at the time of her death she 15% stake in the company.

Lisa Marie was also the sole owner of Elvis Presley’s former home and now a tourist attraction, the Graceland Mansion. The estate includes 13 acres of land and Elvis Presley’s remaining personal belongings such as costumes, awards and cars.

Lisa Marie’s exact cause of death has not yet been released by the Los Angeles County Coroner.
