Yesterday, vivo became the first company to officially announce a phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It’s just one of several brands planning to launch 8th generation 2nd generation devices before the end of the year, and the list includes cousin iQOO. The iQOO 11 series will be announced on December 2nd based on the invitations he received.
After all, as well as confirming the date, there are also posters floating around the web showing off one of the iQOO 11 models. The white body with racing stripes is instantly recognizable as an iQOO phone.
This generation of iQOO seems to stick with the rectangular camera island but drop the carbon fiber decorations around it. Here’s the iQOO 10 Pro for comparison (specifically the Legend Edition):
We’ve seen some leaks regarding the iQOO 11 series. The vanilla model is said to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel (Samsung E6) with QHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera, plus an odd number of his 8MP macro camera. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, of course. It should also have vivo’s new V2 ISP (with the “V2” label on the back). The vanilla model is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery that can charge at 120W, while the iQOO 11 Pro can charge up to 200W with a 4,700mAh battery.
