Resident Evil Village for Apple Silicon Macs [REVIEW] • iPhone in Canada Blog

Capcom and Apple recently announced Resident Evil 8 Apple Silicon Macthanks to Metal 3 and its MetalFX upscaling capabilities, AAA titles such as Resident Evil Village Make it run smoothly on your Mac.

For those unfamiliar, Resident Evil Village is classified as a AAA title as it was developed for consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, this game requires a Mac with an M1 chip or newer to run.

Set years after the horrific events of the critically acclaimed Resident Evil Resident Evil Resident Evil 7, an all-new story begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in their new location.

Tragedy strikes again as they try to walk a new life together.

Some of the highlights of the game are:

  • first person action – Players assume the role of Ethan Winters and experience all close-quarters combat and gruesome pursuits from a first-person perspective.
  • Familiar faces and new enemies – Chris Redfield is usually the hero of the Resident Evil series, but his appearance in Resident Evil Village seems to have sinister motives.a
  • The many new enemies that populate the village hunt Ethan mercilessly, hindering his every move as he tries to make sense of the new nightmare he finds himself in.
