like samsung top galaxy ultra phone When Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Tablet, ultra laptops have top performance, tons of features, and killer displays. . The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is the star, though. An otherwise excellent Galaxy Book 2 Pro modelOne problem was the display. It had a nice-looking AMOLED panel, but it was 16:9, 1080p widescreen. Most premium laptops use higher resolution 16:10 panels to give you more vertical space. The 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Ultra jumps to 16:10. It’s also an AMOLED panel, so you get great color and contrast. Its resolution is 2,880×1,800 pixels.
The second problem I had with the Book 2 Pro was that Samsung didn’t offer a discrete graphics option. Frankly, if you want to call something “pro”, it has to offer something more than integrated graphics. This is no different for the Book 3 Pro models, but the Ultra will come with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 or 4070 graphics chip paired with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 or i9 processor, respectively, making the Ultra a pro-level laptop performance.
These components drive the price up significantly, with Core i7 and RTX 4050 configurations starting at $2,400 and Core i9 and RTX 4070 pairing at $3,000. not, but the entry price translates to £1,950 and AU$3,400.) A 1080p webcam, a quad-speaker audio system, a fingerprint reader in the power button and a larger 76 watt-hour battery. The Ultra has more ports than the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, with a USB-A port and HDMI 2.0 output joining two Thunderbolt USB-C ports, a microSD card slot and a headphone jack.
The good news is that almost all of these are reflected in the Pro models, with the big exception of the Core i9 processor and discrete graphics. The good news is that the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro laptop is 4mm thinner, about half a pound lighter than the 16.5mm thick 4-pound (1.8-kg) Ultra. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is also available in a 14-inch size at just 2.6 pounds (1.2 kilograms).
There’s also the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 two-in-one, which is big for a two-in-one, but it comes with one of Samsung’s great S pens, so there’s plenty of room to draw…or just take notes It also makes a great digital whiteboard for meetings. It also comes packed with features like Ultra’s high-definition webcam, ports, and quad speakers. It’s also the only model that comes with optional 5G wireless.
And like previous Galaxy Books, the new Ultra and Pro laptops are made to work with other Galaxy devices. Transferring files between your phone and laptop is easy. For example, you can start working on a file on your Galaxy phone and finish it on your Galaxy Book. Alternatively, you can use your Galaxy Tab S8 as a wireless external display to extend your laptop’s screen. Galaxy Buds can also automatically switch between devices. This extra layer of interoperability is something Apple is doing well with his iPhones, iPads and MacBooks, and Samsung is quickly catching up with help from his Intel and Microsoft. These laptops also come with enterprise-level security. Microsoft Secure Core PC Requirements.
There is one thing Samsung kept the same as the previous generation and that is the overall look. However, it does improve build quality. They are tougher, stiffer and stronger. This is definitely a plus, even if it makes it a little heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra and Pro and Pro 360 laptops are available for pre-order now on Samsung’s site, with the Pro models expected to start shipping on February 17th.
