(Pocket-lint) – CD Projekt Red, the company behind the popular The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has detailed the improvements slated for the game’s next-gen update.
The update will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 14th, with CD Projekt Red showing off the new version for the first time. The company has confirmed that the title will offer both 30 fps with Ray his tracing and 60 fps without options on all three next-gen consoles.
Gameplay also gets a number of improvements and tweaks, including a DLC based on The Witcher Netflix series that expands into its own quest. There’s also cross-progression support, allowing gamers to move saved games from console to PC. and be able to put it back again.
Other notable additions include haptic feedback on PS5 and tweaks to using magic. We also love the problematic map, and the new filter settings remove some of the question marks that used to get in the way of everything.
CD Projekt Red also confirmed some new accessibility features, including the ability to tweak subtitles, and also touted the usual set of bug fixes and general performance improvements.
All this means that the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be the best. If you haven’t used it as a pin yet, this new update should fix the problem.
