Xiaomi Announced The second wave of smartphones subject to MIUI 14. In summary, the company revealed in December that 16 devices would receive MIUI 14 in the first wave. It included the 5 series, Redmi Pad and MIX Fold 2.
Unfortunately, this qualification only applied to devices registered in the Chinese branch of MIUI 14. However, these Chinese expansions tend to provide insight into where Xiaomi’s global expansion is headed. For example, Xiaomi recently started issuing MIUI 14 based on Android 13 globally to Xiaomi 12, but through the Mi Pilot program. Now Xiaomi has outlined that the next device will be his MIUI 14 next lineup.
