In this large population-based study, cancer patients were at higher risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and had worse outcomes than patients without cancer, and the risk was higher in patients with hematologic cancers and in those with aggressive disease. It was highest among cancer patients undergoing treatment. Triple vaccination was associated with a reduced risk of poor outcome.
