Donald Trump has come under fire for calling on his supporters to “unwind” and “physically fight” the Republican front-runner in the 2024 presidential election.
After being banned from Twitter, Trump, who is an active user of his social media platform Truth Social, reposted messages from supporters he believed suggested violence.
“Then they have to find a way to fight 80,000,000 + it will never happen again. This time people my age will physically fight for him,” from username @freeTX1776 in a Truth Social post.
“What do we have to lose? I will devote the rest of my time on this planet to that. And I know many others who feel the same way. Got 6 and we’re locked and loaded.
Trump, who has been investigated by a House committee for more than 18 months for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots, has been accused of being a “central cause.”
After he told his more than 80 million Twitter followers to come to Washington on the day Congress loses to Joe Biden in the 2020 election to make its final decision, his supporters descended on the Capitol to hear the events of the day. wrote that it would be “wild”.
